ALL Power Labs Gasification Teaching Graphics

see here for printable pdf files of the main graphics we use for teaching gasification.  Some of these are generated in house at APL.  Others are copied and cited from elsewhere, most significantly Tom Reed's many helpful visual contributions.

Interesting Old/New Tech Museums and Related Places

Gasifier Collections.

Deutches Museum Munich, Germany:  The history of German tech.  They put out a book on the life of Jacquest Imbert.  We have it here at the Shipyard in Berkeley, CA, but it needs translation from German for the locals

Old IC Engines, Steam, Farm EQ, etc

Coolsprings Power Museum in Pennsylvania: http://www.coolspringpowermuseum.org/

Exhaustively collects the early history of internal combustion engines, as expressed in stationary engine applications.

Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum, Vista, California

Miracle of America Museum.  Paulson, Montana
All things early rural US tech.  Every old man's old machinery dream come true.  Every old woman's old machinery nightmare come true.  An absolutely amazing place, not to be missed.
